Prepare to be inspired as we enter the mind of an entertainer who’s destined for greatness, Nick Mara.
How has your life changed since appearing on ABDC Season 6?
My life has changed in many ways since appearing on ABDC. People now look at me as an inspiration, which makes me feel great about myself. I love being able to help others and my peers with dance. Being on ABDC has increased my passion for dance and helped me set future goals as an entertainer. I want to be more than a dancer, and this opportunity opened my eyes to how much I love being on the stage – performing. It was basically a fire-starter for my career.
What are some of the current projects you are working on? Future projects?
My future project is still in negotiation to go on tour with a Disney Channel star. I’ve also been in the Studio – writing my own music, learning from Producers and Engineers, and meeting other artists. I am also working with one of the best Acting Coaches from Nickelodeon. Hopefully, between the dancing, singing, and acting something will pop!
Who are some of the artists/dancers you’d love to work with given the chance?
I would love to work with Chris Brown. He is such an inspiration to me and he also has a very unique style of dance. The coolest thing about Chris Brown – he follows ME on twitter!! I would also like to work with Usher. These two artists/dancers inspired me to dance and sing.
I have to ask this question for all the girls out there. Are you single?
Yes, as of right now I am single.
What advice would you give to young dancers who dream of following in your footsteps?
Some advice I would give to all the young dancers is that they should never doubt themselves. They should always keep their head up and let their personality and skills shine. If you love it – do it!
What are some of the most memorable moments on your journey as a dancer so far?
My most memorable moments as a dancer include: setting foot on the ABDC stage for the first time, and going to the VMA’s to see Chris Brown’s performance. As a singer, when I heard my own original being played back in the head set and the producer mixing and mastering it; I couldn’t believe it was me!!
Any special shout outs you’d like to give?
Yes, I would like to give a shout out to especially my mom and the rest of my family for believing in me. I would also like to give a shout out to my fans for sticking by me and supporting me since day one.
