I love sports, like football, track, and boxing. I’m ambitious, outgoing, humble, a hard worker, and a caring person. Also, I’m a Poet, Boxer, Male Model, Actor, and Business Entrepreneur. What do you want to be recognized for most as an artist?
I would like to be recognized as an inspiring artist, I want to be recognized as an artist that created a new music genre with a poetic flavor. I would love for the world to recognize what I have new to offer, which is strong meaningful stories of life, behind spoken words that give powerful inspiring messages (Poetic Music).
What’s your biggest goal as an artist?
My biggest goal is to help build motivation upon people who struggle, because I know what struggling feels like and when you’re struggling, sometimes you feel as though this is it, there is no hope anymore and give up. So my biggest goal is my American dream, and that is to give Americans who struggle all over the world a dream.
As a Poetic Artist, where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from my mother and my life struggles. I’ve been through a lot, and writing poems lets me express my emotions, my pain, and everything that’s going on in an unforgettable moment in my life.
Given the opportunity, which artists do you dream of sharing a stage with?
I dream of sharing a stage with Meek Mill, Wale, Stalley, Kendrick Lamar, Young Jeezy, Waka Flocka, Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, Common, The Roots, Adele, Ace Hood, Miguel, Musiq Soulchild, Robin Thicke, Yo Gotti, Drake, etc…
What do you feel is missing in the music game right now?
I feel as though the music industry is missing unique standards, and actual good talent. I believe there’s only a few talented people in the music game in this particular generation. Nowadays, I believe it is only about the image with the music game; more people with image get signed than a person that has no image of being an artist, but his/her talents is that image. That’s just my opinion.
Can we expect an album from you in the near future?
Yes most def, right now I’m working on a new poetic mixtape. The title of the mixtape is – The Poetic King (Building An Empire), that will release in the Fall, look out for that.
Any shout outs you’d like to give?
