This is a question that has been bouncing around online and Social Media lately, so it’s only right that we have a discussion about it!
Here’s a simple breakdown showing the difference between a professional dancer and a professional athlete:
Professional Dancer – Eats, sleeps, dreams, and breathes Dance.
Professional Athlete – Eats, sleeps, dreams, and breathes (Fill in the blank).
What’s the difference between the two? There isn’t one. Both are athletes. Both train hard. Both make history. With that being said, many people argue that dance is an art form, not a sport. Do you agree? Do you think it can be both, or should traditional labels be set in place?
